Millie and Jamie

2020, what a year you have turned into! No one could have anticipated how this would all unfold. In many ways, life has slowed down and things have become simpler again, spending time at home, learning to bake and just taking a break from the grind! 15 weeks have gone by of lock down and all of my wonderful couples have had to re-arrange, postpone, cancel, switch their wedding dates around and it's been a headache for everyone involved. 

Millie & Jamie, at no point allowed the re-arrangement of their wedding to affect them and I have to applaud them for this. We all handle stress in different ways, however these two are just a couple of cool cucumbers and It just makes me even more excited to capture their wedding in 12 months time. Living in Mersea, where it could be argued life is slower and everyone is that little bit more chill might have something to do with it.

So to mark the occasion of their original wedding date, we got together doing the thing they love the most (being on the water) and although the weather did it's best to dampen spritis these two will not be moved! Had such a great time, even getting dropped onto a muddy island bare foot to shoot some shots from the shore, the feeling of mud between my toes was actually quite nice.

Really excited for next year guys and can't wait to party hard with you!
