TWO THOUSAND and NINETEEN

UK & DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY

2019, the year of jumping in pools and moshing on the dance-floor. It has been an incredible year, shooting weddings as far as Abu Dhabi and Italy. For anyone that knows us, travelling is something we really enjoy and destination weddings are our absolute favourite. If you’ve been a guest at one, you’ll know what I mean about it being LOOSE! These guys know how to party, some till the following day! You know who you are… It’s been a mad, incredible year and without turning this into an acceptance speech with tears and thank you’s I do want to say how much we appreciate you guys putting your trust in us to come and document and tell your story. It means the world to us and we really couldn’t (Literally) do this without you all so thank you so much. Kicking off the year in Lake Garda was special and we made some incredible friends along the way here, Jess & Stephen, I love you guys, and can’t wait to meet the little one! :) Getting to visit some of my favourite venues again this year has been awesome the likes of Borgo Stommenano in Tuscany which is my all time favourite venue! I adore this place and the character of it. Luckily enough I shall be returning in 2020! WOO Cannot wait! Florence was another amazing wedding, all be it absolutely roasting hot! What a weekend that was. I shot a wedding in South of France which was beautiful, and the header image is from that crazy party where everyone jumped in the pool. Charlotte and Jamie invited me along to capture their wedding in Ibiza which was simply stunning, I got to work alongside one of my buddies Ben Walton Films and we had such a great time capturing this one for them. Blake hall in Ongar was another great venue for us this year and we shoot here quite regularly and it’s always nice to hang out with Austin! If you’ve met him, he’s a character! The wilderness Reserve is up there with another of our favourite venues to shoot at, such an incredible place and they are ever expanding this wonderful venue. I got to capture one of my good friends, and super talented photographers proposal to his lovely girlfriend, I always laugh when I think back to hiding in a bush for an hour till you arrived. Standing beside my best mate George to watch him get married to the love of his life Tanya in Jersey was really special and I was honoured to, for once be the other side of the camera, Kris did an incredible job on this one. One stand out wedding happened at The Tudor Barns in Belstead UK, Maggie & Chris, I’d like to give some background to their story so it makes sense. Maggie was diagnosed with cancer at 29 years old. She got in touch and told me her story, and told me she loved my style and it was exactly what she wanted. Before I had even read to the end of her e-mail I was in. I was honoured to capture their day for them, knowing how important these photos would be for the couple and their families. Thank you both so much for inviting me along, being so incredibly open and lovely. You are both truly an inspiration to me, and Maggie, your incredible energy and upbeat personality is truly incredible. There are so many, too many to mention every single one, but just know that each and every one of you has in some way been part of our journey and we thank you for that. Wonder what 2020 has in store for us! See you on the other side guys.
